What is GRIP?    Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians


New Jersey has record taxes, oppressive government regulations, government corruption, failing schools and the worst business climate in the country.  Our roads are crumbling and we're in debt to the point of bancrupcy.  All while the politicians line their pockets, enjoy lifelong benefits and pensions, and ignore the problems of the people who voted them into office.

It's no longer a Democrat versus Republican issue anymore.  Both parties have contributed equally to the growing problem.  Here is the reason they do what they do (and don't do what they don't do).


THEY KNOW YOU WON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!


The only tool we have to get them to do the job they were elected for is to vote them all out of office.   (Get Rid of Incumbent Politicians).  Even the ones who haven't actually done anything wrong have chosen to do nothing out of fear of retribution from their peers or their party.

Election after election we send the same people back to do the same things.  They promise everything under the sun when they are running and when they get to Trenton, forget everything they said until the next campaign.  They may mean well in the beginning but after they are in office for a while, everything they do is contributing to THEIR future, THEIR retirement and THEIR wealth and THEIR reelection.

For example, when was the last time a politician ran and DIDN'T promise to do something about property taxes (which are the highest in the country)?  And yet those taxes still keep rising.  When was the last time we were promised that something would be done about corruption?  Our schools are failing not because of the teachers, but because we have over 600 school districts in New Jersey! That's 600 administrators with very large salaries, cars, lifetime benefits, etc., 600 support staffs, 600 Board of Education offices with their support staff and infrastructure.  All of our tax dollars go to Trenton and the little bit that does come back supports this monstrosity instead of going to the teachers and the kids where it is needed the most.  Every politician KNOWS that's a big part of the problem but they won't do anything about it because it could cost them campaign contributions.

Corruption, waste, and ignoring the issues costs money..our money.  This year, we need to send a strong message to anyone running for office.  Everyone in Trenton is part of the problem.  Vote GRIP means VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE.  Party lines really don't seem to matter anymore.  This cycle it's Democrats.  A few years ago Republicans had the majority and nothing has changed.

All 120 of the current Legislators are up for reelection.  All of them.  

Many people don't even know who their representatives are.  The link to the left lists the current Legislature.  The list is in order of district.  If you don't know your district, the "Districts" link brings you to a map of the state with the districts drawn in.  Again, THIS IS THE LIST OF PEOPLE NOT TO VOTE FOR.  Print it, email it, make copies for friends and colleagues.

We need to send everyone packing and start fresh.  If they don't change things, vote them out of office.  At least then they might have some fear that if they don't do their jobs they can be taken out of office.

We need to take control of New Jersey again.  Vote the incumbents out of office.  Make them afraid of us and make them work for US again.
